A foundation for lifelong learning through curiosity and exploration.
Aspiration International Primary School (AIPS) is a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). The school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that AIPS believes is important for our students.
This programme nurtures young students, helping them become confident, curious learners and compassionate, engaged participants in a lifelong journey of discovery and growth.
Building a Strong Foundation for Secondary Education
Our journey begins with the Early Years Programme, where children engage in play-based learning within a stimulating and joyful environment, building essential skills through exploration. As students progress into the
IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), their curiosity expands, and their understanding deepens through collaborative and inquiry-driven learning. This approach ensures a seamless transition into the
IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
 and beyond.
Shaping Thinkers from the Start

The IB PYP Programme is a student-centred, inquiry-driven, transdisciplinary framework designed for students aged 3-12. It fosters conceptual understanding by emphasising active learning, curiosity, and exploration:
- Inquiry-Based Learning: Encourages students to ask questions, investigate topics, and develop critical thinking skills.
- Transdisciplinary Approach: Integrates knowledge and skills from multiple subject areas, helping students make connections across disciplines.
- Conceptual Understanding: Focuses on big ideas rather than just facts, ensuring deeper learning.
- Student-Centred: Empowers students to take ownership of their learning through choice, voice, and agency.
It equips students with essential academic and personal skills across six key subject areas:
- Arts
- Language
- Mathematics
- Physical, Social & Personal Education
- Social Studies
- Science
Through this holistic learning process, students develop into competent, reflective, and creative thinkers, gaining the cognitive, emotional, and social tools needed for lifelong success in an ever-evolving world.
